Welcome Windows 11!

I would have never thought about Microsoft launching Windows 11, after Windows 10 was published.

Microsoft reveiled new updates and features on Windows recently via livestream.

Here are the key highlights about Windows 11:

• Android apps will be directly available on your PC
• New start menu and rounded corners
• Big redesign (e.g. Microsoft Store) and new UI
• Lots of productivity upgrades, as Snap Layouts for running multiple apps at once
• New selection of personalized widgets incl. AI
• Better touch, pen and voice support
• Gaming: Auto HDR and DirectStorage
• Microsoft Teams integration

Release date: The new version of its Windows operating system is planned latest to be released at the end of this year, but there will be beta access for Windows Insiders to various builds already of the final release starting next week.
